Every company in Life Sciences develops from its pipeline. We assist companies as they develop their product, to fully matured Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or Biotechnology companies managing Global Clinical Trials.

Based on this Clinical Research principle, FirstWave extends its business services to Medical and Regulatory Affairs, helping the client by providing expert advice throughout the Development Process.

In Clinical Research, we provide specialized independent contractors or payroll employees, so we can meet companies’ requirements for ad hoc consultancy expertise or long-term projects.

Based on our competency-based recruitment model, FirstWave created Master Service Agreements with a multitude of healthcare companies, making FirstWave one of Belgium’s outsourcing companies with the widest client base, and even the sole local provider for some of them.

This creates an ideal situation for placing and re-placing consultants as their career evolves.

‘FirstWave unlocks potential’

Each of our consultants is selected via an in-depth, competency-oriented, personal interview based on Client and Project Requirements. We actively search for and headhunt each of our consultants, based on the same principles and code of conduct Executive Search firms adhere to.

With a dynamic network in recruitment, our selection process takes less than two weeks. Once the selection process is concluded, the shortlist of candidates is presented to the client, to further select on the ‘personal fit’.

At the end of the consultancy period and upon formal request, the client may propose the consultant join the firm permanently.

HEADHUNTING, WITH A PERSONAL TOUCH

We continuously interview candidates to proactively serve our clients and extend our existing network. In combination with years of industry experience, our consultant selection for each assignment is done within 14 days.

FirstWave also provides best-practice training in relevant fields and all consultants receive Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) training to focus personal development on the client’s needs.

Currently, two out of three FirstWave consultants are referrals by internal employees as we offer a dynamic and exciting work environment.
